With all the posting/not posting problems, try these:

1. Copy your post/response BEFORE clicking on "post"

2. If the "can't post now" statment appears, don't necessarily believe it, but go to the subject heading and scroll down to make sure it isn't there.

3. If it still seems not to be there, refresh your page and go to "home" and then the subject and check a second time.

4. If it still fails, use the copy you made to repost and try again.

5. If there is a double post (which failed to show on first glance), make sure you "report this" so that only one shows.

YIKES!!! This is dreadfully complicated! However, I do know that members get confused and some newbies might just walk away.

I'm not having problems with posting here. Sometimes you need to click on the board name to see your post come up.

I log in then I go to discuss,then I write my post and then I click Post and it logs me out of the community site. I really dont know what else to do. I hope soon they can fix this. If it keeps logging you out it may be a cookie problem with your browser. You may want to go in to your browser's Tools/Options and delete the temp files (including cookies) in there. That MAY help.

There are a variety of ways to copy and paste but it's a handy thing to learn and can be used in so many places, online and off, in documents, on message boards, on facebook, etc.

Here's one way:

When you type something up, BEFORE you Submit, hold your cursor on the top left corner of the text and click and hold down the left mouse button as you drag it across to the right and down.

That will highlight/select all your text.

Now hold down the Ctrl key (lower left corner of keyboard) and the C key at the same time. You've just copied.

Now you can Submit/Post.

If you've just started your own discussion it may not display right away but it can still show up eventually. If it doesn't, you can post it again because you've already copied it.

To paste it, start your discussion, get your cursor in the message field and hit Ctrl and the V button. Voila.

Now Submit/Post again.
