    Possible gonorrhea? HIV too?
    vegasgm posted:
About 4 weeks ago, I hooked with someone but don't really remember what we did as I was drunk. On Sunday night I met another guy (I'm a male too), and we shared oral sex, masturbation, body rubbing etc. The day after I get a really bad sore throat and night sweats, and then last night noticed a whitish discharge from my penis. Today it must have been discharging too as there are flakes of white in my underwear.

Can Gonorrhea start to show symptoms so soon?

Could the sore throat, night sweats and possible gonnorhea be a sign that it could be HIV seroconversion? Or would I feel worse if it was that?

Get tested for gonorrhea. It will give you more accurate information regarding status than an internet board can.

Masturbation and body rubbing are not risks for HIV transmission. Oral sex carries an estimated risk of .5 to 1 per 10,000 exposures with a source KNOWN to carry the virus. Your risk would be less since you cannot confirm these partners status.

I see a disturbing pattern here of perhaps drinking too much and engaging in unprotected sexual contact with partners whose STD status cannot be confirmed. You need to rethink your decision to do this.

    Hi Gail,

So I went to the STD clinic and got treated for gonorrhea (even though I didn't have the results back yet, I wanted to be treated as I was going out of the country).

It's now 5 days since treatment and I'm still have discharge - should I be worried? They gave me a shot in the ass and a liquid thing to drink. Reading that it is becoming drug resistant has me concerned.
