Possible to contract STD from hand job?

An_245724 posted:
I was wondering if it was possible to contract an STD (mainly herpes) or any other disease/infection from getting a "happy ending" at a massage parlor? The head of my penis is a little red and tingly (about a month after the encounter), but i could just be from irratation (rubbing against my boxers while walking, etc) and I'm just being paranoid. Please help. Thank you.

The only sexual contact (in terms of sexual fluids) involved in this handjob would be yours. Thus, there is no risk of sexual transmission from getting this hand job.

So would even like the skin-to-skin herpes type be possible? I've read some diseases like this only need skin-skin contact. But I've always heard that hand jobs (whether at a massage parlor or not) was considered safe sex and the doctors opinions online that I've read have never heard of a case of someone contracting anything like this from a handjob.

The doctors opinions are correct.

Thank you for your responses Gail. I appreciate it.

Is there a doctor on here that has any opinions or facts they can share? I just want to make absolutely sure there is nothing I could have contracted. Sorry, but I always like to be 110% sure.

If you remain concerned, consider getting some STD testing. Not that this is needed medically but it will ease your concerns.

Is it possible to contract Herpes gladiatorum from this thought? The skin-to-skin type.

Again, this person doesn't walk around with the herpes virus on her hand to spread to her customers.

Not to sound snippy but if you remain concerned about this whole business, stop getting the "happy ending" part of the massage. You weren't concerned that this same hand touched other parts of your body during the massage, are you.
