I think I contracted herpes the first time I had sex which was over 16 years ago. I did have a blood test done when I was 16 and it said I did nof have herpes. But I still believe I do. So I want to give you the symptons and you tell me what you think.

Ok, when I first thought I had herpes was when I had small bumps on the back of my thigh. Yes, crazy who gets herpes on the back of there thigh, yes it even sounds a little crazy to me. Anyways, it has been years since I have had those bumps appear. They were small little bumps in closters and would itch something horrible. Now, I get small little bumps on my lower back close to my buttocks. Same thing, small little clusters of bumps, that have liqued in them. The only thing that seems to give me any relief from the discomfort is to pop them and let them heal. I still get these bumps to this day at least once a month for about a week and half. Sometimes 2 or more different locations. Now, I get sores on the private area as well. They itch and burn when I pee. So, what do you think it is?

The only way you will find out for sure what is going on is the next time you get these go and be seen and have them swabbed/cultured within 48 hours for best results and find out what it is. if your Doc cannot see you then go to a walk-in clinic to have this done. Getting this done promptly will give you the answers you need and put your mind at rest.

You could also go and get a "type specific igg blood test" to see if you have herpes or not.
