I had a question. I had a std test all came back negative 20 days ago. I Had protected sex about 13 Ago with someone i didnt know that had but has HSV-2 she happens to be my Ex-Wife . I have a burning sensation on my scrodum That has been going on and it itches for the last 13 days. But there are no lesions no red bumbs/Blisters. I was drunk that night i used a condom. i know they dont protect you %100 . I washed up afterwards an i was freaking out when she told me, and used rubbing alcohal and hydro peroxide after washing with soap. And i keep using the same method could the rubbing alcahol/Hydro peroxide cause the skin irritation? . Getting another Std test done in the Morning. Just wanted to see if any one can give me a little hope until i find out for sure.

Washing and using rubbing alcohol afterwards does absolutely nothing in regards to protecting you from STD's. It would be too late. You can have a IGG type specific blood test at the 3 month mark after this encounter for an accurate result. Any sooner and you are wasting money, the antibodies take 3 months to become detectable in your system.

Do you know if she is taking anti-virals? Your chances are good that you did not contract this virus from this encounter, even better if she is taking antivirals. I would assume that you are most likely paranoid and are more aware of anything that is not right down below because you know she has HSV2. Try not to worry about until you are tested.
