Type 53 HPV

Hello all! I'd like to ask a question and see if anyone can provide me with an answer or point me to some resources that might have more information:

I'm a male, young professional, and currently in a committed relationship with my girlfriend (who I will likely marry). She has Type 53 HPV which has already left some evidence of cervical dysplasia, and thus we have been holding off on intercourse in an effort to be as safe as possible. I recently received the first of three injections of Gardasil which is said to protect against types 6,11,16, and 18. My understanding is that the high-risk type 53 is closely related to type 18, but I may be pulling that out of nowhere.

My question is, will Gardasil protect against my girlfriend's type of HPV (type 53)? Are there other vaccines that can? Or should I basically resign myself to the fact that, if we want to have children together, I will eventually contract HPV?

Many thanks for any guidance you all could provide, and my apologies for any incorrect assumptions I've made based on my current knowledge of HPV!

Sorry... As a clarification, it's type 52, not 53.
