Help! Positive for HSV-2 - Very inconsistent symptoms

Situation: Performed unsafe oral sex (male on female) 8 weeks ago. No direct genital to genital contact, she was naked on top of me at times however.

Diagnosis: 3 weeks - IGG 1.59 HSV2. 4 weeks - IGG 1.67 HSV2. 7 weeks - IGG 2.02 HSV2. Two negative oral swab tests. No genital swab tests performed.

Symptoms:
Oral - small growth inside left cheek (oral surgeon says it's nothing). Radiates mild pain now and then through cheek. Dry mouth feeling only on left side. Excessive salivation for first 2 weeks post exposure. Mild chapped lips from 2 days post exposure to now.

Genital - upper pubic itching/tingling, no rash. 1 spot in upper pubic area right side that occasionally throbs, very mild scrotal itching. - all previous are from 1-2 weeks post exposure to present. Week 3-7 - red itchy scrotum and thighs (started using Lotrimin for Jock Itch and it largely went away in about 10 days, but is still there) Week 4-6 - mildly sore right testicle. Week 7 - 8 - very mild burning at end of peeing and difficulty completely emptying bladder. Week 8, very very mild anus itching.

Other symptoms - both leg pain from weeks 3-5. Had to stretch before bed. Intermittent right side pain from weeks 2 - present - mild back pain under right shoulder blade, down back of right leg to foot, and down right arm to fingers.

Also, the past week, my left temple has started to very mildly throb. There has been mild discharge from both eyes for past 5 weeks or so.

Whew! Lots of stuff going on. My question is that multiple doctors have expressed very little concern about my issues. The herpes even seems to be a non issue to them because there have been no "typical" outbreaks. Are any of my symptoms related to herpes? This has been consuming my life and I've spent far too long on the computer researching this.

I was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection based on white blood cells being present in my urine yesterday and I'm on antibiotics. I read that males don't get these very often, and herpes accounts for about 5% of all male urinary tract infections.

What I've found: Based on exposure, oral HSV-2 likely, but extremely rare. Also based on exposure, genital HSV-2 also extremely improbable. There is NO CHANCE I had it before this exposure. I've only been with one other girl and she tested negative last week.

I also know that HSV-2 orally reactivates very rarely and asymptomatically sheds very rarely.

WHAT is going on with me? I just need things to suggest to a doctor or something. The only way I got diagnosed with the UTI was very persistent urging for more tests.

The HSV 2 results show that it may be HSV 2. You are above the negative level of HSV 2 which is 091 or less but not high enough to be considered positive. I would wait till you hit the 4 month post exposure and see what your HSV igg blood test is for HSV 1 & HSV 2. The other issues you talk about seem to be just you worrying about anything as you gave and received oral sex. Everything seems to bother you now because you know that you had a possible exposure. Everything seems magnified as you worry about this. You pay attention to every little thing that bothers you now and you would never have worried about it before this encounter. Stop worrying and get on with life.
