Thanks for continuing to be here after all these years, helping others.

I noticed you noted some duplicates on this board. Please know that the moderator will always get those when she looks in but if you'd like them to be taken care of even faster, the best thing you can do is use the 'Report This' link beneath the posts and just say 'dupe' or 'duplicate' in the report. The mod team can then take care of it quickly.

Thanks for all you do!

From what you describe it appears that you have two issues. The first is the fact that as far as your wife feels you with held this from her even though you did not know it was HPV. This is a trust issue and any type of counsellor could help you with that.

The second is to get educated on HPV. I am not educated on HPV as this is not my area of expertise. I would recommend that you google "HPV support groups" on Yahoo. If you find one in your area then meet with them the next time they meet so you can talk to someone who can give you knowledge and places to get facts on HPV. They may even be helpful in locating a counsellor who would understand.

Show your wife that you do care and love her by getting support and once she sees that perhaps she will join you and then the two of you can work on your relationship.

Cut back on the alcohol as well and move forward with your life.

Let us know how things go so we can be a support to help you.
