Anal Sex

So my question does not necessarily have to do with STDs. My partner and I are monogamous and have unprotected anal sex. I was wondering what the risks are besides STDs in this practice such as what kind of bacteria can be transmitted to my penis doing this. I know that there is a lot of bacteria included in fecal matter but most sites don't really go into depth on the risks of contracting things besides STDs from anal sex. Like if we both don't have hepatitis C can I still contract it from anal sex (can it just originate from the the stool itself). Thanks.

If you both are STD free, then you are OK. The unprotected anal sex does leave you open for urinary tract infections, this is always a risk unless you use a condom.
