Is it normal for hpv to take years to show up? and is stress a big cause for flare ups? I dont have the kind that causes warts.

How were you diganosed? HPV flare ups are warts, so I'm kind of confused by your post. If you mean cervical dysplasia, this is not considered a flare up but actual cell changes to your cervix caused by HPV and is only detectable by your pap test. Can you clarify?
Sighsalot replied to elle0317's response:
Sorry for the confusion its been a rough day. The doctor said that I dont have warts but theres a lesion or something called LGSIL. Ive had paps in the past that have come out fine. Ive been with the same partner for 6yrs, nd theres never been signs from either of us. Could I have gotten it years ago and something now is happening?
elle0317 replied to Sighsalot's response:

Here is some info for you. LGSIL is an abnormal pap, meaning it's cervical dysplasia. Yes, this can take years to develop from the initial infection.
