    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

How were you diagnosed as haveing herpes? Do you know if it is HSV2 or HSV 1 genitally? Has anyone given you oral sex recently? If so it could be HsV 1 genitally.

If it is HSV 2 and you do not think that you got it from your most recent partner then you have had this for years and just now had your first ob. If you had a blood teest to confirm your status then ask for a copy of the numeric test results and post them on here. so someone can confirm your status.

You could have had this for years and just now had a first ob. You would not be the first to have been in a comitted relationship for many many years and suddently gotten your furst ob. Many poeple have been married for many years and suddently get an ob. That could be 10, 20 or 30 years or more.
