    penis tip and testicle pain?
    cbrown1001 posted:
This is my first post on here so not sure if this is the right place. It is quite a long process so bare with me

i received unprotected oral and protected sex from a girl. 3 1/2 weeks later i developed an unrelated problem, and i had a 1 weeks course of co-amoxiclav that cured the unrelated problem. 1 week after finishing this course i masturbated. When i ejactulated, i felt a 'lump' of seimen come from the base of my penis all the way out. as soon as i ejactulated, i felt a slight discomfort / almost stabbing pain around my penis opening. This went away after 30 mins and everything else was good.
The next day i masturbated again. i didnt feel any 'lumps' come out, but once i ejaculated the same pain returned and never went away. Over the next few days i developed a slight redness around my penis opening. its approx 3/4" in diameter and is more visable in the bath. 3 days later i developed a mild ache in my right testicle. no redness or swelling present.
The symptoms stayed like that. No discharge or itching. Only what i have listed.
A week later i went to my local gum clinic. They did the umbrela test and found no infection present. They also tested me for clamidya, ghonera, syphalis and HIV, which all came back negative.
since then i have been to the doctors twice. I have done a month of antibiotics. 2 weeks of one i cant remember the name of, and 2 weeks of ciprofloxacin. this eased the pain in my penis tip, but did not get rid of the readness or my aching right testicle. Since finishing the course the slight pain in my penis has returned. The doctor did not seem concerned with my penis, but sent me for a ultrasound on my testicles. This came back normal.
i have now had this problem for 8 weeks and i am petrified. its getting me down and i cant stop thinking and worrying about it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This does not sound like any STI. Did the Doc test you for hSV 1 & 2 so you know what your status is. It does not sound like Herpes but it is always good to know your Herpes status. It sounds like you were not tested for it. 3/4 of an inch is a rather large spot. If you felt that your original Doc did not look after you then go and be seen as it is bothering you and perhaps a new Doc would be more concerned about this. This sounds more like a urology issue than an STI.

I still have this issue a year on. Exactly the same. No improvement. Everyone keeps sayin not to worry but my symptoms are real.

Had several std checks since and all negative. Would the doc pick up urethis from a swab? Even if it was not caused by clamidya or gonhera?

Has anyone got any suggestions? Can these two conditions be linked or seperate. They both came on within a few days of each other

I do not have any more knowledge about this then you do but I will try to help you look at this with you to try to figure out what is all happening. I am not a medical professional of anny kind just someone who wants to help you figure this out.

Are you sexually active? If so has your partner had any issues that are bothering then that may be transmitted to you?

1 So from your posts it sounds like this does not bother you when urinating is that correct? give a Yes or a No answer.

2 Presuming that urination does not bother you then this sounds like it is an issue with two other area's. One it could be a problem with the semen/seminal fluid entering your canal as it comes down the ureathea and some how causes you to have this sharp pain during ejaculation. So it sounds like it is either the semen/seminal fluid bothering you to give he pain. That seems to be one of your concerns. Or it could be an irritation with the ureethea when the semen /seminal fluid is being delivered through the ureatha.

3 You also complain of a pain in one of your testical's. I would think that when you had the MRI of your testical your Doc would have rulled out Testicular cancer. If testicular cancer was ruled out then there is some other issue giving you the testical pain. Is the pain just a minor aggravating pain or is it quite severe? If minor could you live with this minor pain?

From you describing it seems the pain during ejaculation is more the problem that really is giving you concerns and I can see how it would bother you.

At this point see if a urologist is the correct person to deal with this concern. If a uroligist says that is not their area of expertise then ask them to refer you to the correct specialist that would look after these concerns.

I hope that you are able to find the help you need and I do hope that I was able to try to break this down so you can explain it to the correct specialist.

    God Bless you.

    Thanks for your quick response.

To recap, I only had this pain come on over a year ago when I ejaculated. The next time I ejaculated, the sharp pain stayed. Over the weeks my penis tip became irritated. And that is how it stayed. Alas the testicle pain started at the same time. The pain in testicle is bearable. If not frustrating.

When the irritation came and stayed, it is not effected by urination or ejaculation. It just seemed to start all that time ago after I ejaculated. So I have no pain urinating or ejaculating.

However, it does seem less irritated when I awake in the morning. And also less irritated if I shower 2 or 3 times a day!

For the testicle, my epididymis was of normal size (same as other one) with normal amount of blood flow. Also ruled out cancer.

Non of my sexual partners have complained of any symptoms. And have been tested for gonhera and clamidya

    Thanks Cb
