wet laundry
nebraskalove posted:
I was asked by an OSD student today to take her laundry out of the washer into the dryer. I'm too nice and couldn't say no, so I did and a lot of her laundry was underwear. Now I'm afraid that she might of had a std like herpes, HIV, syphilis or any of the other std's. I keep washing and sanitizing my hands but worried they're around my room since I touched stuff. What if I had small cuts on my hand that I couldn't see? I hate that I'm too nice, and now since I ate using my hands I'm worried I might get herpes or syphilis or some serious std that will threaten my life.

I've been wondering when you were going to show up again with yet another interesting but impossible scenario on how one might become infected with an STD.

Just like all the others you have posted, handing underwear from a washer into a dryer would NOT be a risky behavior to transmit ANY STD to you.

Having unprotected sexual contact ON the washer (or dryer) with someone who has an STD...yes. Simply handing wet

nebraskalove replied to georgiagail's response:
I've read herpes was pretty easy to spread and she could possibly had genital herpes.
georgiagail replied to nebraskalove's response:
You do not get herpes from handling wet clothes from a washing machine.

abe648 responded:
Soap and water will kill the Herpes virus. And I do not know for sure about the other STI'S but if it kills Herpes it most likely kills any other STI'S.

georgiagail replied to abe648's response:
The OP is unaware that this student with the wet laundry even has herpes.

They suffer from a terrible OCD regarding any type of STD/STI.
