    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

Do I have hiv or another disease
    An_256716 posted:
I've had bacteria vaginosis for 8 months straight. Meds work for 2 days then it comes back. My armpits always hurt and the skin on my thighs burn. The bv causes an odor burning sensation and sometimes discharge. Are these symptoms of hiv? Bv culture is always negative. All std tests were negative. Please help I am lost!
    georgiagail responded:
No, these are not symptoms of HIV.

Do you know anything about bv? If so please help me.
    An_256716 replied to georgiagail's response:
Thank you Gail. I'm going to my gyn today. I will let you know how it goes.
    An_256716 replied to An_256716's response:
Went to gyn she said she could only see a few wbc but not enough to treat for bv. She thinks I maybe just sensitive in the area. Which doesn't make sense.
