How to more easily read discussions

Exchanges provide a more dynamic way to keep up with ongoing discussions.

But If you're finding how discussions and responses are displayed now is a bit confusing, are wondering how to keep track, and would like a more traditional view of an exchange, you can do that!

When you come to an exchange, click on the Discussions link on the upper left sidebar and voila!

(You can do the same if you want to just look at tips or resources.)

To go back to the view you get when you first come in to an exchange, just click on the Exchange Home link on the upper left sidebar.

So the actual board/Exchnage of GH Living Day to Day does not exist anymore is that correct? But we can start an Exchjange with that name and put it under the Sexual conditions and STD Exhcange or would it have its own Exchange?

Secondly when my profile is posted will a reply be similar to what we had before in that all they will be shown will be my Avatar and my board name ie abe648? My full name and email address will not be displayed correct?

I went to do a spell check and I do not see it or I am missing the location of the spell checker? If there is a spell checker where is it located?

One final thing I was going to give you a smile and I do not tsee these any more either? :-(

Thank you and I am sure that it will take time to get used to a new board/exchange. I am sure that you have been very busy.

Keep up the great work!! :-)

Hi Abe,

Yes, you are very welcome to create such an exchange. :-)

Your profile will show all the posts of any kind you have made on this exchange. Profile information does not follow you from one exchange to another.

And yes, only your screen name and avatar is available to see by other members. Your full name and email address is private, as it was before.

FYI, since we're discussing profiles, on WebMD moderated exchange such as this one, you cannot create a member story (all the info you might have shared before in text in your profiles). Those can be created on member-created exchanges.

There is a spell check of a kind here but not the same as the old one. When you post a typo it will be underlined in red and you can correct it but it doesn't tell you how it should be spelled, just that it IS misspelled. (But it often mistakenly, as the old one did, will not recognize a properly spelled medical term as correct. ;-) )

Nope, no obvious smileys now but, as you found, we can create our own. The other kind may return at some point in the future.

And yup, 'busy' barely covers it. *chuckle* Glad you're still with us, Abe! :-)
