By that time they liked me so much it didnt seem like such a big deal.. They did their own research on it after I gave them all the information I had about how its transmistted and how I control it and that Valtrex cuts down on transmisson by 70% , etc and then let them make their own choice. Its worked out well. I have been blessed. Just be prepared that is MIGHT not go well but...the more YOU know and tell them the more confident they can be in trusting you. Good luck![br> [!--[if !supportLineBreakNewLine>-->[br> [!--[endif>-->

Does your husband have it? It is possible for people to have HSV1 or 2 and not know it. Actually, 90% of people with HSV2 don't know that they have it...YIKES. If it is true that your husband has had herpes for years, it is possible for you to just now have contracted it. Did you have an IGG blood test? What were your results? There is also a chance that you got it from him (or elsewhere) years ago and just now had symptoms...your numbers could help determine if it is a brand new infection. More specific information would be helpful!

have a question im trying to frigure out if i have herpes before going to the doctor i do have endometrious and all the syptoms to alotof the stds or vigitie are are simialr to my endometrious syptoms other then the blisters i cant figure out where they came from last time i had one was a good 3 or 4 yrs ago and that bliste5 was white these are black just like the lesions i have removed on my laporospy is there any way for tthe same type of lesions make it down to the opening of the vigina?
    lookingup41 replied to blueeyez07's response:
HOW WERE YOU DIAGNOSED WITH HSV? If it was only visual exam...Go to the doctor and get a culture of the lesions and get an IgG blood antibody test ASAP. This may help determine if this is a new infection. I don't know much about endometriosis or it's symptoms, but I suppose you could have mistaken HSV symptoms for that years ago. I have never heard of black herpes ulcerations...mine were white/pink. They are not what I consieder "removable" like you say of your past lesions from endometriosis. HSV can have blisters at the vaginal opening. Get proper testing and put all these answers to rest.

I was diagnosed on March 8 2010 and i am very scared too..Im only 29..I will tell you that I find alot of comfort in knowing that there are ppl like me that also have it too..I have also opened up to only 1 friend about it and that has helped me alot...
