    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

New discovery at UC Berkeley - Nutritional supplement for HPV

I was diagnosed with HPV back in December of 2011. I have been on the search for remedies ever since. I've tried topical treatments and maintain a healthy diet rich in fruits, vegetables, herbal teas, and lean proteins. I also take antioxidants as well, vitamins C and D3.

There's a supplement my doctor recommended that I've been taking for about 8 months now. It is proving to be an amazing addition to my nutritional regimen. It is a DIM immune booster by the name of ActivaMune developed at UC Berkeley. DIM, which comes from broccoli, has strong antiviral properties and directly modulates the immune system. My doctor recommended I take double the supplement dosage, so four pills a day to fight my infection. He also recommended that my boyfriend take the same to prevent against reinfection.

I am happy to report that after 6 months I am HPV free! I feel better than ever and all I want to do is share this discovery with others.

Wishing you the best of health!

    Alysson
