    Sexual anxiety or performance anxiety.

Are there any stories of guys that have had sexual anxiety or performance anxiety. How long did it take you to recover? What worked to fixed or cure it? I believe now that this is what I may be dealing with. I'm starting to struggle in my mind now. Going crazy. I went from great sex life to none in about 72hrs. I've been married 9 years. I've never had issues getting an erection or keeping one. Now all of the sudden, two times in one week and premature ejaculation.

Any good success stories to help me stop worrying soo much. Its starting to have an effect on the other things in my life.

hwood, YOUR PENIS IS GIVING YOU A WARNING. The penis is a dip stick for a healthy body. You did not give your age. But as you get older you will have some missed fired. If you have been a great lover for 9 years. The wife will understand and work with you.
I would advise to continue having intercourse daily. Each day that you do not have sex. Will make you question your sex performance. Try a differant position, or oral, anal, in her breast. Try a differant location in the car, kitchen, in the yard....
Check if your penis is able to get a firm erection watching another female or with another feamle. Are you Able to have a rigid hard and control the time during masturbation.
Change your diet, drinking habits, and increase exercise.
If you having premature ejaculation after masturbating or another female vaginal does not give you a firm erection. You need a frank discussion and full body exam with your doctor -Now. The comments you maded about your dick are warning of male health problems. Not just a penis issue.
Stay HEALTH, you are the the fastest Sperm from your Father.

Where do I see this advice?

I'm 34 yrs old. We do not have sex daily. Usually 1 to 2 times a week.

I do work out, all though I do not jog or do cardio, just weights. We have not had sex in over a week. And I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm nervous to even try.

I did drink a lot, well to me more than norm. About 2-3 beers, sometimes 4-6, 4 or more times a week. But that has been going on quite some time. Almost a year.

I also would masterbate atleast three times a week. None of those things appeared to stop me from sex with my wife, until that night I had the issues, or two nights that is. If I look at porn or email with other women I can start to get hard. But it does take longer. Used to take only seconds. And I can last a lot longer.

Far as I'm concerned, that's the issue right there: you're worrying about it. I've been there a few times. I either couldn't get stiff or would get too excited and go off like an adolescent having his first time.

Just relax. If she doesn't know already, then tell her. My stress level --usually work-related-- was my culprit. After a while of not having any sex, and us just cuddling, my stress level came down and other things came up. ; )

And, sometimes, during our cuddling, without me asking, she'd reach down and start to play with/massage everything. If it happened, great! If not, we'd wait a bit longer.

I'm 45 now, and my drive may be dipping a bit, but my want hasn't. I want sex at least once everyday, even though it doesn't happen.

    Just relax, it'll happen....

Yeah - contrary to what the Rx makers would have us believe, men do age, things slow down and life happens. All this stuff has an effect. I've been there hollywood. And the first time it happens you think your world is gone and you've failed as a man - right? Or at least I did. Ongawesgone has great advise. Relaxation and as hard as this is going to be to learn, forget about trying to have an erection and forget about trying to have an orgasm. You're at a stage now where those two things might not happen as often as they had in the past, but it's not a cause for worry. Spoon with your wife and gently caress her, focus on her body and her reactions to your touch, breathing, her hair. Have one drink but not more than that - I can attest to this to. Two glasses and I'm reved up and good to go. Three - it's a crap shoot. 4 and I'm going to be fighting to keep the sensations going to be able to keep it hard and finish! Also, if you haven't done this already, get a physical from your doctor. There could be a medical cause happening and this is a symptom. Again - speaking from experience - high cholesterol and high blood pressure run in my family. I can see a direct relationship between keeping these in check and reaction times during sex. One more thing to think about. If you haven't tried any toys in your sex life this might be a good time to try. I have a couple of different cock/ball straps that I keep handy to help keep it up and going. These help restrict the blood flow just enough - you don;t need much restriction either to make a difference. I see that the last post is from 3 months ago, so hopefully you've been able to resolve the issue and if not hopefully I could offer some help.
