. Males Question the size of their penis. If they had been as youth able to view other nude malesThey would have seen but for a few inches all males penis are about the same Size. Some larger and thicker; but Other's dicks are smaller and thinner. Its normal for his penis to shrink smaller or to get a full boner when in a group of naked men. Athletes are more casual about nudity than the average person. From an early age, they have stripped naked in locker rooms, showered and towel dried themselves in front of other athletes and coaches. Jocks have come to expect a certain level of nudity, probing questions and invasive inspections. They have been undress in front of a doctor or nurse, parents and men in the community. Was my thought how is this torture or some kind of humilation ritual. We are all MEN born with a penis. We are know how to say NO. To another male.
If guys worry about the size of their penis then being naked isn't going to solve the problem. Being naked around others just for the sake of it when youi have a modern day set of hangups is going to get you exactly nowhere.
OTOH, as you remarked, athletes and sportsmen have fewer hangups about their bodies so why not simply encourage more sports? At least there will be a good reason for it - their health.
As for insisting on nakedness because of the etymology of a word, it's ridiculous. do you know what the word "Gymnasium" means in German? I doubt being naked there would solve any problems ...
"We are all MEN born with a penis. We are know how to say NO. To another male."
I'm afraid I don't understand why you said this ...
have a modern day set of hang-ups.
I know I do not have. Because I was raised to be comfortable naked around other guys. FLC, some male have different sexual thought around nude males. Therefore It only requires the word NO. All males are not intrested in sports; but showers after physical educations so be required.
I used Greece, but nudity is still common in Japan, Korea, India, Africa, and South America. Greek was the begin of the modern language. Today language
gymnasium in Germany is roughly equivalent to an American academic prep school. In some European countries for instance Germany, Finland and the Netherlands it is to allow both genders to bathe together naked.
Most German not to mention French, Spanish and Greek beaches and swimming pools offer clothing-optional areas. In general, continental Europeans have a more relaxed attitude about nudity than is seen in the British-influenced world. In the U.S. students at public schools have historically been required to shower communally with classmates of the same sex. In the U.S., public objections and the threat of lawsuits have resulted in a number of school districts in recent years changing policy to make showers optional. Private boarding militarily schools in the U.S. often have communal showers, Most objections to showering at school were actually from the students' parents rather than from the students.
By the way, I have yet to see a "clothing optional" area in a swimming pool in France, Germany or Spain, so let's not overly generalize. Perhaps you have just visited "specialist areas? My experience only covers "family areas" ...
Also, although being topless is perfectly acceptable on the beach, being totally nude is not. You are expected to remain within areas that are designated as being naturist zones.
select Wikipedia,>> All European locations >>Naked Europe Map. Are a few of the beaches or lakes I have stripped. Of cource my family lives there. My penis has also touched the water of a lot of private water. The same as in the USA..
True the life style is differant. USA citizen came from Europe, Asia, Africa. etc. But its US women / men that is tell modern day boys. Hide your PENIS , do not be PROUD you were born a MAN..
Tiergarten, the great park in the center of Berlin Some were nude, some were not. there were no signs delineating nude and textile places. Most of the of the saunas were nude are outside. People lounge naked in the sauna garden, in full view of the surrounding office buildings. I stayed in a hotel near the Tiergarten, the Sofitel Schweizerhof. When I was there the only showers were in the woman-only area . So they put up a sign, in English and German, 'Dear Guests, the showers are for men and women'. MY Most favorite palace is the CecilienHof, on a beautiful lake the HeiligenSee (Holy Lake). Just beyond the Cecilienhof (and an expensive hotel) on the north end of the lake, The two westward lawns are clothing optional, and the great majority of people were nude. Those people who wanted to wear bathing suits took their clothes off in public and put on their bathing suits, even on the textile beach. Mothers, fathers, and children, most of whom took off all of their clothes. There were as many people in the clothing optional areas as there were in the textile areas.
Like I said, you frequent somewhat exclusive areas as opposed to "standard". These places are not the norm. Having said that, there are naturist areas everywhere and nobody thinks any harm of them but you go there deliberately, you don't just stumble over them.
I am not denying the existance of the places you refer to, just saying that they are not the norm.
For what it's worth, I too have travelled extensively in Europe (I have family and friends all over the place) and have lived in France for many years now.
Since you have lived in France for many years now. You may not understand the changes in the USA. That is not the norm.
