    Understimulation or Erectile Dysfunction?
    AlexStuart posted:
I've got all the questions to feed myself, but I always run out of answers when it's hard for my penis to erect. This is my friend's statement which somehow made me curious to discover the truth behind the meaning of the hidden words. Is it just that his partner isn't sexy or because he already have erectile dysfunction? Well, this is what I look forward to discuss here. By the way, I'm Alex, a newbie who wants to be active and get stimulated by your insights!
    fcl responded:
It could also be quite simply that he's suffering from performance anxiety.
There's nothing inherently dirty about sex, but if you try real hard and use your imagination you can overcome that.

Hi Alex, and welcome to the discussion board.

When I hear about a guy having erection problems I wonder about his age and general health. And does he wake up with a hard penis most mornings. If we knew a little more it might be easier to discuss.

However, most of us are not MDs and can only talk about our experience. If a guy is having hard-on problems it could be a good idea to talk with one's regular doctor about it to see if there is some underlying physical condition. As FCL suggesets it could be a nerves about performance -- that can go a guy in in no time!

If there's no underlying medical reason for the lack of hard-ons there are some things which maybe we here could suggest. Let us know more about the situation and maybe we can offer some suggestions.

Take care and good luck! Life's too brief not to enjoy one's sexuality as an important part of it.
    AlexStuart replied to fcl's response:
Thanks for the comment FCL! Perhaps, anxiety is one factor why his penis stays soft despite the fact that he's already thinking too hard towards his partner. But then fear is just a minor thing, and even if we'll say that it's just normal for a beginner, but that's quite strange for a real man like him. I actually suggested him to take those small capsules which men usually take when they want to easily get stimulated and prolong their happiness, but I don't know if he really took one. What I just notice is he becomes somewhat different when we met each other again. Maybe a wild f**king girl taught him the best sex lesson.

---Your insights are really great! thanks again.
    AlexStuart replied to gymrat44's response:
Hello gymrat44, you've got a witty comment, thanks! That's really the proper things to ask. The age of that guy is 22 and he looks healthy as any other men you probably know. But as I commented to the post of FCL, fear of sex might have contributed to his slow erection. Anyhow, I didn't take any follow-up as to his progress; all I know is he's great now - looking as a sex expert. That perhaps is the result either of the new lifestyle that he has, or because he had taken viagra, etc. that time.

Yeah, you're definitely right! Life is short, but we can do something to prolong our happiness.

    hi Alex ,

there should be more symptoms u hav to mention for finding the actual cause .

There are several causes like Anxiety , low sex libido , Erectyle dysfunction , low stimulation .....etc ..
    fcl replied to AlexStuart's response:
"it's just normal for a beginner, but that's quite strange for a real man "

Not true. Performance anxiety can happen to ANY man at all. It has nothing to do with being experienced or a "real man" (whatever that is). The worst of it is that once it happens, fear of it happening again can MAKE it happen again - a sort of self-fulfilling prophecy if you will.
