Lost My Libido and Cannot Find It Anywhere

Abacadabra7 posted:
Hello to all of you. This is my first visit to this forum.

I am male, 59, hetero, single (very, very single) have had enormous trouble making contact with women and having any kind of social life. Some of you know my history.

For a few weeks now I feel like I have no sex drive. ED when trying to masturbate, a lack of sexual feelings generally, depression.

I do not date as no women in my community will have anything to do with me, no matter what I do for them and I do a lot to help others.

I have been in therapy for four years with three different therapists. All have been boggled by my problems and the latest one suggests that perhaps I was meant to live the life of a monk. I do not want to be a monk. I want my libido back.

Any thoughts on how to restore lost libido? This is no joke. It is about killing me.

PS. The avatar is me. I have nothing to hide, no secrets and do not care who knows about my problems. That is how desperate I am for answers.

I think I'd be more inclined to post this question on this exchange rather than the couples coping one:

http://exchanges.webmd.com/sex-and-relationships-exchange

On the other hand, there's no reason not to post it on both :)

Both would be good.
