Skin Tan
PoojaSharma posted:
Hi friends,

Recently I went to Goa for a vacation. I had an amazing time but upon returning I realized to my horror that my face, arms and legs are acutely tanned. I have tried scrubbing my skin with all the fruits, scrubs etc but to no avail.

Please suggest me a suitable treatment.
Mary Ruth Buchness, MD responded:
Dear PoojaSharma,
Unfortunately, you can't scrub a tan off. You are going to have to wait a month or two until it fades by itself. Next time you go, make sure to wear a sunblock with an SPF number of at least 30, and reapply after swimming or sweating to avoid the tanning.
