No matter what creams, moisture lotions or oils I use. I have itchy dry skin especially at night. I wake up with a gritty feeling over my skin, sometimes I am bleeding where I have clawed myself in my sleep without waking up. Most recently I have random stinging burning sensations like I have ants or a bing stings. There are no rashes or whelps.
Anyone else ever gone through this?

Interesting that this is especially at night. Does this happen no matter what kind of sheets you use? For example, does it happen both at home and when you're on vacation in a hotel or someone else's house?

MzAllee,
You've already treated the most common cause of itch (dry skin) by using moisturizers. Now it's time to see a dermatologist. You could have a skin problem, like scabies or atopic dermatitis. Sometimes itching without a rash can be the result of an illness. So please get checked out.

Have you checked for bedbugs?
