    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

I've had a growth on the back of my necks for years now. It was always a bit tougher than my normal skin and slightly raised. In the past couple weeks it has grown in width and it has also become much more malleable. It seems like it has become filled with some fluid. On occasion some of the fluid will ooze out for lack of better term. when I use a bandage the dried material looks yellow. I was just wondering what this growth might be and also if there is a good way for me to reduce the swelling.

    Hello Gentleman1981 -

Any change in color, size, appearance or symptoms of a mole or growth should be reported and checked out by your doctor.

Unfortunately, without an exam it is impossible to guess what's going on. See these slideshows for more information and please call your doctor to have this evaluated.
