dry bumps on face
SunDevilLady posted:
On my face I have a some slightly red bumps that are really dry. They don't hurt and they don't itch. I use face cleanser with scrubbing beads and a moisturizer afterwards but the dry spots/bumps won't go away. It seems like the skin on these bumps is constantly peeling and looks obviously dry. The bumps are not all over my face which makes me think they're not caused by the products I use. Any advice on how to get rid of the dryness is greatly appreciated.

Dear SunDevilLady,

Hopefully, the lesions are just inflamed and dry skin. Try a great facial moisturizer such as Cerave PM or Cetaphil Restoraderm or Neutrogena. If after 2 weeks of using a good hydrating moisturizer the lesions are NOT improved, it would be time to see your MD. Resistant red bumps can signal infection or even precancer and should be evaluated if they are not improving.

I hope that helps
