    Uneven hair coloring-tri tone
    An_250877 posted:
Does anyone know why or how when getting your hair colored at a salon that you come out with 3 different tones? The day after my appt I washed my hair and there was still so much coloring left in it that it didn't appear as though the person rinsed my hair, yet she did. Could this be why my hair has like 3 different shades or tones? It does look as though she missed a couple of streaks, but that doesn't explain the really darker areas.

Sometimes hair just takes dye differently. Also if you recently (like in the 3 months or so before you got salon dye done) used a boxed color from a store, that can totally change the way your hair takes any color. If you're naturally a blonde, your hair will more than likely take color better. If not, your hair might not take color as well. If it bothers you, you can always go back in and have them touch up the places. It shouldn't cost any extra, or you can just wait till the next time you color and just make sure to tell her to cover those spots especially well. And hey, you got three different colors of highlights and/or lowlights congrats lol. Unless it looks bad then....oops sorry.
