Non-Itchy Rashes
Pixiegold14872 posted:
I have these non-itchy rashes. They are on my arms, the back of my hands, leg, feet, stomach, under my eyes, wrist, shoulders and on my belly button. They are not red. They are more of a skin colour and are bumpy. I don't know if i am allergic to something and i have tried to put dry skin lotion on the rashes but there is no visible improvement. The first one appeared over an year ago. I often find new ones on my body. What should i do and what is it?
Mohiba K Tareen, MD responded:
Dear Pixie,

If the rashes are not itchy, there is a possibility it is not a skin allergy. Given the duration of the rashes, it may be important to see a dermatologist to rule out psoriasis, fungal infections, etc.

I hope that helps
