Treating acne with accutane

Tayyx11x3 posted:
Hi, I was recently about to start accutane to treat my acne problem. Recently, I have heard that accutane can harm a women's eggs and lead to infertility. I have read and heard many women who have taken accutane in the past are now infertile(no family history of infertility). My moms side has had issues with pregnancies and egg infertility. Assuming I am the same way and want kids one day, is accutane worth the risk?

Thanks!

There have been no large medical studies showing a link to infertility. However, I would also love to hear the experiences of those in the community.

Very interesting topic for discussion!
