could it be scabies? they can give the same symptoms like bug bites or mosquito bites and the areas these ppl are complaining its exactly where scabies mostly infest and it itches like crazy too and specially at night time.
just my opinion, hope it gives some light to all you seeking an answer.

I have the same issue.. only mine start out like little blisters. It started on my right index finger and then covered my hand and then down my arm and now is on the only arm, ankle, behing my right knee and some on my scalp and ears. I don't know what it is, it started out of the blue one day and I hadn't changed anything in my routine. Been to the doctor and they have told me it was everything from a really bad skin infection to scabbies and everything in between. Everything they give me never helps. They even put me on anti depressents to see if it was stress related and still get them. Any ideas to what it could be?? The itching is killing me not to mention the ugly scabs/scars they leave behind!

I have the same thing going on - I checked the symptom checker on this site and I'm going to try an anti-fungal cream to see if that helps. Mine started in May and I'm still contending with the itching. If I can control my reaction to the itching, it seems to be better, but if my clothes rub against the rash, then the itching starts again. I've also noticed, if I try to leave it alone, it will start to just burn.

You might try the anti-fungal too. I figure it couldn't hurt!

Hello!

I'm very much concerned with some patches of bumps in both of my forearms. I have allergies to seafood and pollen, and I usually have hives when the allergies are triggered. However, I haven't eaten any seafood or exposed myself to pollen, but I get these hive-looking bumps again. It's not very itchy, but when I take hot showers they become itchier afterwards. What is happening to me?

BettyDawn replied to kkolo's response:
I am having the same problem, tho no increase in my thyroid medication, which I have been on for over a year. I am taking no other medications. The itching began on my lower leg, moved to the other leg, now it is on my waist, stomach, upper and lower back. It is horrible. I have been to the doctor, and he gave me a hydrocortisone USP, 0.2% cream. That didn't work, so next he did Clobetasol Propionate, USP, 0.05% Cream. That didn't do anything either.

Mohiba K Tareen, MD replied to BettyDawn's response:
Dear BettyDawn,

I know it is so frustrating to experience this problem with no resolution. At this point though, I suggest seeing a dermatologist and potentially having a skin biopsy. Clobetasol is the strongest topical steroid cream that is made, so if that did not help, the condition should be further investigated.

Please keep us posted.

I hope that helps

It is hard to tell without an exam from a doctor or dermatologist, but it could be a case of shingles. The do look like little blisters and can spread. I think there is a medicine you can take for this, but you would have to be seen by a doctor or just let it run its course (If that is what it is)

pinklady1942 replied to Courtwitch's response:
If it is shingles, I think they may treat them with a herpes type medicine such as acyclovir . These would be anti viral type creams or maybe even a pill you would take orally. They can be terribly painful and itchy. If you did nothing, they should eventually go away but maybe not as quickly.
