Lump next to my eye

Hi, there is a lump next to the outside corner of my eye. It started small and I thought it was a pimple at first. But it gradually grew and now its probably a little bigger than the size of a pea. There's a slight discoloration and it hurts if I push on it. Does anyone know what it could be?

probably just a "sty"...i don't think they disappear so easily. could be a bug bite. i would watch it and go to a doctor if that is possible. i had a sty ontop of my eyelid...to the corner. it started out red but turned brown. it took years to go away, but it was no bigger than a small pimple (and looked like it too). once had a mosquito bite on my temple (next to eye) drove me crazy! good luck to you...hope it is nothing serious...
