I've noticed i have clustered itchy bumps on both my elbows and knees. I went to a dermatologist and to my dismay he couldn't tell me what it is. He took a skin biopsy from my left knee and i wont have the results until tomorrow. This morning i noticed i'm getting similar bumps on 2 of my right hand knuckles.. What could it be??

I have had similar problems for years, since I was a child. They seem to come and go, usually more noticeable in the summer. This year seams to be worse. They are mostly on my elbows but now I have one or two randomly on my wrists and the arch of my feet. I asked my primary doctor and he said it was likely viral but could not give me a specific cause. I was considering going to a dermatologist to get more answers. Any news from the biopsy?

I heard back on Friday. He said the results came back as consistent with arthropod bites. But couldnt specifically tell me what kind of insect is biting me... He gave me a cream and they are going away now, hopefully for good!!!!
