I AM DUE WITH MY FIRST CHILD IN ONE WEEK. I HAVE HAD A GREAT PREGNANCY UNTIL LAST WEEK WHEN I GOT MY FIRST STRETCH MARKS. THEY ARE DEEP PURPLE AND RED AND ITCH. I SPOKE WITH MY DOCTOR ABOUT AND SHE SAID THEY ITCH BECAUSE OF A SYNDROME CALLED PUPPS. BUT I CANT FIND ANY INFORMATION ON IT. SHE SAID TO USE CORTIZONE CREAM ON IT WHICH IS FINE BUT JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

First of all congratulations on your pregnancy! I am sorry you are dealing with miserable PUPPPS (Pruritic Urticarial Papules and Plaques of Pregnancy).
