Is this a boil, and will it ever go away?

I'm a 25 year old female. About 4 months ago, for the first time ever, this small hole appeared in my left armpit. I thought maybe a pimple opened or something so I just tried to clean it and then left it for a week. When it didnt go away, and was an open hole, I tried squeezing it a little and some, albeit very little, blood and pus came out. I then googled and read that it may be a boil and that I shouldn't squeeze it. I have since then left it alone but it is still there, months later, and doesn't look any different. However, I read that boils can be painful and mine is not.
About a week ago however, I found a huge pimple like thing which is a little painful, in my vaginal area. Again, I tried squeezing since it was the first time I ever got a pimple-like thing down there. It didn't budge which made me say, hmm, maybe this isn't a pimple! It was very hard. The next day it drained by itself and became flat, and I felt it was going away and was glad. But today I noticed it is getting big again, looking like a medium sized pimple. I also noticed there is a very tiny hole on it. It's not painful, just a little uncomfortable. Can anyone help me? Are these boils? What can i do? and will they ever go away? Thanks!

Hi Anon -

I am so sorry to hear you have been dealing with these symptoms.

Since it is difficult to determine what this actually is and these types of bumps, pimples, boils, cysts may require different treatments, please see your doctor to have these evaluated.
