My 10 year old has white dots

My 10 year old son has 2 small white dots, 1 on left chest and 1 on left shoulder. Very slightly bumpy. Asian with brown skin tone. I noticed it after long swimming day. Please can someone advice.

If these are indeed so transient after swimming, perhaps we can attribute it to irritation or even a hive like response.

If these lesions last longer than 24 hours, you should call your pediatrician. Some infections such as the virus molluscum (which causes skin colored to pink- white lesions) can be transmitted in swimming pool water.

If the lesions last more than 24 hours, I would suggest you see your pediatrician. There are some common infections (such as molluscum, a virus that causes skin colored to pink-white bumps) that are transmitted in swimming pool water.
