    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

Waist-band rash -- or STD? - or what?

I have had this rash around my waistband, and a little lower, on and off for about two years. I have seen my Dr, and he thinks its an irritation and not an STD. I do have a history of herpes in my mouth in the past, but he says its not an outbreak.

Its in my pubic region and seems to be worse when it is dry out. I wonder if its from the detergent in my laundry in my boxers waistband, but there is no sign of any irritation elsewhere. It can be annoying because being single and wanting to date seriously, it can come up.

I"m going to get referred to a demertologist at my next dr visit in a month or so. However, I've posted an image of it (embarassingly!), what does it look like? Are there any OTC treatments; I currently use A&D ointment which seems to calm it down, but not heal it.
