Itchy red Rash..Low level Vitamin D

I have had this rash, itchy that started on my arms now on my breast stomach, back, been to the dermatologist four times, she had me change everything from personal products to household products, still have the rash..had blood work done a few days ago and I seem to have low level of vitamin D..like 12mg..I understand it should be 20 or higher..has anyone experienced skin problems from low vitamin d level?

Excellent question!

Many studies have shown significant improvement in skin health and quality with supplementing vitamin D back to normal levels. Low vitamin D makes us more prone to itching and infections.

I recommend that all of my patients with eczema have their vitamin D checked.
