    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Hi there! I recently moved to the Caribbean and in the past 4 days I've received a lot of bites but only on my butt and nowhere else. They itch when I wake up and seem to be biting around my crack for the most part PLEASE HELP!!! I've searched my bed numerous times and can't find a single bug anywhere

    Dear An,

You may be experiencing an arthropod hypersensitivity reaction- this occurs when the skin becomes very inflamed and makes bug-bite like reactions even in areas where you are not bitten.

You may need to see your doctor or dermatologist for a prescription steroid cream to help reduce the itching and the body's inflammatory state.

I hope that helps Have fun in the Caribbean!
