    Hives and ph balance

I've developed terrible, chronic hives for the past 6 months. They've done blood work, even a biopsy to no avail. Does anyone know if this can have anything to do with ph balance being off? I'm trying to figure out what this is from. I have them at least 4 days out of the week. They've been mainly on my torso but now they are in the underside of my arms. I've changed detergents, and I'm noticing they showed up when I gained ten pounds. I'll listen to anyone who may have a reasonable explanation.
