    Sorry if this is gross.
But I have a lump on the hood of my clitoris.
I noticed it a week ago when my boyfriend was pleasuring me. I got him to stop because it hurt. I didn't see any visible lump at that point. So we just carried on and had sex because that wasn't painful for that area ( it was more on the rough side of the sex spectrum). The next morning I woke up with a hard lump near my clitoris. I waited two days and it had disappeared on its own. Yesterday my boyfriend and I had sex once again it ended up getting kind of rough. There was no pain down there. But this morning I woke up and the lump is back. What could it be?!? And could the friction from sex be causing it?

Many benign cysts or gland blockages can form in this area. It is important that the lesion be evaluated to make sure it is not a herpetic or HPV lesion as well. I would consult your family doctor or gynecologist.
