    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

A bruise that won't go away...
    ozma82 posted:
When i was little, I was bitten by a dog, on the face. ever since then I've had a little bruise spot. well, I kind of aggrevated it, and now it seems bigger, and has a bump in it now, too. Great. :-/ What can i do about this other than covering it with make-up? Any holistic advice? or "traditional" medical advice? I'm not in my home country right now either, so going to the doctors is a bit scary...

that sounds liek a bursted blood vessel. you will have to seek medical professional to help with this.

I sounds like a dark scar but since you had gotten bitten its probably a knot that's in it kind of like when you get your ears pierced and you don't wear earrings and a knot forms, but I would have to say don't be scared of doctors anywhere they are there to help you.
