Falling asleep
DandMan1 posted:
I have trouble falling asleep. I can't seem to get myself to 'turn my mind off' and continue to think about stuff. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Dear DandMan1,

I'm sorry you're having difficulty falling asleep. You might check into Cognitive Behavioral Treatments for Sleep Disorders . These include such things as relaxation training, stimulus control, and sleep hygiene. This slideshow on sleep disorders also has some Sleep Hygiene tips.

If you're not able to get better sleep on your own, then consulting a sleep disorders expert might be a good idea.

Yours in health,
