The early part of this month (May) after my sleep study test- I was diagnosed with having severe Sleep Apnea- the specialist ordered me a small machine, hose, and device that goes over my head and into my nostrils- as I usually spit up clear flem when I layed down, so I didn't want anything over my mouth. In the machine there is a small plastic part that I have to put distilled water in too. There is a level of air flowing thru from 4-20. The Dr has it on 8 for me. The water that flows can be changed - Dr said 2 or 3. The first night I tried it this week- it made a difference - but then when I woke up in the AM my mouth and lips were so dry!! So then I called in and I got a mask to wear with my other one that keeps my mouth closed. And that has helped ALOT for me!! I'm not as tired as I was before I started these masks, and I have more energy than I did. Yesterday I didn't even take a nap in the afternoon for the first time. But I've got other health issues, one is Fibromyalgia that I found out in 2007- getting so tired by afternoon was one of the symptons. So maybe this machine is helping me sleep better so I'm no so tired. But I'm GRATEFUL for the machine and masks - it's helped me ALOT!!! Thank You, Lord!!!!

It's wonderful to hear a success story, Bonnie! I have people in my life who have been enormously helped once they got treatment for their sleep apnea. It changed their lives.
