Vivid/Active Dreaming

When I go to sleep at night, it's like the inside of my eyelids are a movie screen, and I watch movies all night. I wake up each morning eexhausted. This has gotten worse as I have gotten older. I have always had vivid dreams and repetitive nightmares. I do take Prozac for depression, and that helped for a while, but they have been creeping back. Any thoughts?
