    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

Ambien - no side effects now

Hi - say I have been taking 5 mg of Ambien for a good night's sleep and the strangest thing is happening - no dizziness or headache the next day.

I visited with a friend who is on Ambien too and hates the side effects and she has had the same thing - no side effects. We are both so happy.

Anyway, was wondering - does anyone know if the manufacturers of Ambien have changed it just a bit to get rid of the nasty side effects?

Anyway, would appreciate anyone's opinion on this - is this a fluke or what - when me and another person experienced no side effects it makes us wonder what is going on?

Anyway, hope someone posts about this. thank you.

While you're waiting for responses here, it would be worth asking your local pharmacist about this; s/he should be able to fill you in.

Dont know of any changes in Ambien. I have been taking 10mgs every night for 5 years now along with other meds & still feel groggy & lightheaded all day long...but I sleep good.
