Possible sleep apnea - I'm scared!
    Claire98909 posted:
So last night I woke up gasping for breath. This has happened to me twice before - the first time was about five years ago and the second was about three years ago. The previous two times it happened it didn't bother me but last night I was terrified to fall back asleep because I was afraid it would happen again and that I wouldn't wake up and that I'd die in my sleep.

If it happens again, is it possible that I wouldn't wake up and would wind up dying?

I do not know much on sleep apnea, but I would visit a sleep specialist ASAP.
