I have obstructive sleep apnea, an underactive thyroid and fibromyalgia. Three times, without warning, I drove off my side of the road with no advanced warning, Finally, the state yanked my drivers license, and rightly so as we had tried Provigil to keep me awake and I did not drive at night,

Barring major advances in drugs to deal with daytime sleepiness, I will never drive again as, thanks be to God, the only person to get hurt physically and financially in the three accidents was me.

My message, tough as it is to take, is if I can't drive safely, I will not drive at all.
