    I am 22, female .... normal college student working part time, nothing out of the ordinary really but recently i have been waking up furious. I have always had a healthy sleep pattern very lucid dreaming and always felt rested but in the occasions since i first woke up angry i notice my quality of sleep is poor. I live alone so i don't know if i am acting any of the anger out throughout the night but i just wake up very anxious and very ready to release the anger. Its horribly frightening to me, poor sleep and stress are like murderers in themselves. The more reasonable side of me feels like it must be stress but i can't really figure how to deal with it if it only manifests while i am sleeping.... any advice would be much appreciated. This has only been a problem for 6 weeks or so... is it too soon to seek medical help?

    It's not too soon to seek mnedical help. It's always the better thing to seek medical help sooner rather than later, where you can't change anything that happened. ^ weeks is long enough. Maybe you just need to talk to a counselor ore more often if you already see one. I have chronic insomnia and went 2 months without sleep once. My sleep specialist kept prescribing sedatives until finally, I seen a behavior medacine doctor. I was depressed and didn't evem know it because I injured every lobe of my brain. So I was prescribed a mood stablizor to take with my sedatives which finally got me to sleep again. You might just need a mood stablizor or antidepressant. Don't think it's because your ever acting wrong, just has to do with your brain. You could also get your hidden tension out with excersize during the day. Never around the time you lay down to go to sleep. That keeps you awake at night.
