Slightly Elevated Heart Rate During Sleep
avatar
scubafly posted:
A few weeks ago, I got a Basis B1 activity tracker which at least attempts to monitor my heart rate 24/7. It doe s a pretty good job of this while I am sedentary.

Looking at the data, I see that, when I am sitting around reading or working on the computer, my heart rate settles in a range of 65-70. When I go to sleep, however, it jumps up to 75-80 and stays there pretty much all night, every night.

This is exactly opposite the way it is supposed to work. I'm a pretty fit guy that works out almost every day and runs six miles three times per week. Does anyone have any idea what is going on here?
