    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

So, midnight rolls around, and I find that I'm still wide awake. I try reading boring stuff, drinking a warm glass of milk, counting sheep... nothing seems to do the trick. What to do...?

    Hi Jonathan,

Here are some daytime tips you might try for getting a better night's sleep. These home remedies for insomnia may also help you get to sleep. Also, it is sometimes better to get out of bed rather than lay there and think about how you can't get to sleep -- it can actually be counterproductive. You might try an activity that is calming and soothing, such as one listed in this article .

    Best wishes,
    Atti

Hi Jonathan,,I am a NONE SLEEPER TOO..If fact I very rarely get good sleep..this has gone on with me for yrs and yrs and yrs..I've tried about everything there is to try unless I go to a specialist. I just went four days and nights without sleep..finally got some sleep the last two nights but only because I am on disability and can sleep in the day also if I need to. I have fibromyalgia, Lupus, restless leg syndrome, sleep apnea, and some other illness's that contribute to why I can't sleep. I am just desperate to get some help. Have you had any luck with getting sleep. I think if you also have chronic insomnia maybe it would be a good idea if we became friends on here..what do you think..? Godbless ^O^ Donna P.S. my boyfriends name is John so I like your name
