    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

There are several surgurys that might help with your sleep disorder.there are a few people that can not wear the cpap for various reasons. i know i am one of those who can't wear a cpap. also one of the first to get ss disabilty for this. i have been on disability since 1999. i suffer from all of the long term effects of not using it. i wish the cpap would have worked for me. please don't give up until you have tried everything.

    Dear texasbell2,

Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. I am sorry to hear CPAP was not a viable option for you, but I am cheered by your positive message "Don't give up until you've tried everything." I second that!

You may have already tried these, but here's an article on Mouth Devices for Sleep Apnea .

    Best wishes,
